Drs. Anthony Berardino and Patrick Starkey did a very exciting thing. They are now trained and certified in Cranial Facial Release Technique (CFR). You may have seen this technique on social media, but we're the first to offer this technique in Northeast Ohio. So, here's the scoop:
- Cranial Facial Release is an advanced form of Balloon-Assisted endonasal cranial adjusting that incorporates the use of tiny balloons that are carefully inserted in the nose and inflated to open up the breathing passageways, unlock cranial fixations, and mobilize the bones of the face and cranium with the intention of optimizing brain function and enhancing pituitary function.
- It's derived from an earlier form of cranial balloon treatment called Bilateral Nasal Specific pioneered by chiropractor Dr. Richard Stober. CFR techqniue is found to be more specific and more comfortable for the patient.
- The primary objective of CFR is to: mobilize the cranial bones, unlock cranial fixations, correct cranial abberations, optimize brain and endocrine function, open up breathing pathways, relieve osseous pressure, remove dural torque, faciliate CSF flow, increase blood supply, and increase lymph drainage.
- Conditions that responded favorably to CFR are: breathing problems, migraine headaches, sinusitis, tinnitus and hearing issues, vertigo, bells palsy, trigeminal neuralgia, sleep apnea, snoring, head trauma, learning disorders, emotional disorders, neurological disorders, seizures, burning mouth syndrome/symptoms, deviated septums, and visual disturbances.
